Товарисчи!

Isn't it remarkable, how much sadistic pleasure Russian-speakers get from abusing their language? (deliberate wrong spelling, bad case endings, non-standard vocabulary, contrived use of Ukrainian, Polish, English, criminal argot, the list goes on and on). Is it the result of some prolonged repression, a belated teenage rebellion? Or am I missing something?
