Back to School.

The subject of primary schools came up in a movie we saw over the weekend, which made me think back to my own school. It was Middle School #45 of Tallinn, a Russian speaking school that survived to this day. When I tell people about the discipline, the tense atmosphere, the amount of material we covered in just 3 years that I spent there, they don't believe me. In any case, I hadn't been back to school as an adult until 1994, during my "root search" trip. Here's a picture I took during that visit. This is me and my 1st grade teacher, Galina Fyodorovna. She hadn't changed a bit. She barely remembered me though. She thought that we had gone away to Leningrad (that was our cover story back in 1980). I felt really embarrassed to tell her that my parents lied about this.Well, in any case, here's today's poll (does this thing work?)
