Feb. 17th, 2009 06:35 amThe public phone operators in Australia had a problem. Australian law regulated all local calls at 50 cents, no matter how long they were. This caused the phone company to loose money over very long calls. They couldn't change the law, but they had to make those calls shorter somehow. What did they do? (white on white) [ They made the receiver extremely heavy. ]
