Jul. 3rd, 2004 07:32 amThe other day, I was watching TV with my kid, and there's this American cartoon on. It was about a little brave baseball, told from his unhappy beat-up perspective. The cartoon was dubbed into Hebrew. At the high point of the plot, the little baseball meets a new fierce-looking batter, whose name is "nutcase" (פסיכי). It struck me by surprise, because he didn't look such a "nutcase" to me, but never mind. They go "nutcase this" and "nutcase that", until they reach the point where the "nutcase" hits the little ball so hard, that it reaches a record distance, or something. For this achievement, the ball goes to the Baseball Hall of Fame, and for a brief moment you can see the signature on its bottom. It says ( ... )
