Finally got the car I ordered from Avaya.



It's a big bulky machine, feels very stable on the road (as compared to the Lantis). The driver sits high above ground level, and the car goes from 0 to 100 before you have time to say "jack robinson". My only gripe is the old-fashioned interior design. Looks like it hasn't changed for 20 years. All in all, looks like a good choice.

Aspect and Subject Oriented programming.

After Julia sent me the "Why Microsoft can Blow-Off with C#?" article, it reminded me of a similar categorization of the Soviet Union leaders. The ones who were bald, were romantic revolutionaries, and caused quite a stir. The ones who were hairy, had an iron hand and restored law and order. Check the sequence:

• Lenin (bald) - leader of the Bolshevik revolution, one of the fathers of the Soviet ideology


• Stalin (hairy) - eliminated all his rivals, deported people on a large scale


• Khrushchev (bald) - wanted to plant corn all over russia


• Brezhnev (hairy) - was known for his "cold war" politics


• Andropov (bald) - was in power too short a time to make a mess


• Chernenko (hairy) - was in power too short a time to make order


• Gorbachev (bald) - one big mess - the Soviet Union goes bye bye!
