Went to see The Brothers Grimm with the missus Friday night (a lame movie, btw) and spotted a bunch of 2nd generation Russian immigrants in the theater. Kids aged 12 to 15, they constantly code-switched between Hebrew and Russian with an amazing dexterity in both languages. I wonder what they will sound like ten, twenty years from now. Will Russian disappear, or is it here to stay?
