The Jahshan olive oil refinery.

We got instructions to search for the only church in Mghar. The oil refinery should be close by. As we neared the church, we asked a local, if this was the church of the village. He said "Yes, Jahshan is further down this street".

Yahel approached a group of kids who were playing by their house. He tried to listen in on their conversation, but he couldn't get a sinlgle word (neither could I). Then a woman came near and said something to the effect of "play with this boy as well" (I only got the words "la3abu ma3u", or something like that), but then I had to explain in my broken Arabic that he doesn't speak the language. The following question was "inte 3ebraani" (are you a Hebrew speaker?), which I had to confirm. Then one girl shouted "bo tesa7ek" ("come to play" in Hebrew) and the others started mimicking her and crowding around Yahel. At that point I had to excuse ourselves and follow the street down to the refinery. Maybe some other time.
