One good thing about getting up early and not being able to sleep, is that you can call your friends and relatives on the West Coast just before they turn in. This morning I caught my old friend Mira in LA and my brother in San Francisco (on Yahoo Messanger and Skype respectively). The Yahoo connection worked beautifully, and even supplied some chunky video from the other side. As for Skype, the sound quality was good, but the delay pretty horrible. I would wait for 5 to 10 seconds to hear Denis respond. I wonder why that happens.
