Aug. 10th, 2008 06:11 amIt's been over a week that we've had Sumsum, and he seems to be forming an ill sleeping pattern. In the evening we put him in his "nest" and he goes to sleep just fine. The problem is that at 5am, no matter where he is (in the back yard or in the storage room), he wakes up and starts scratching at the door like crazy. And it's not even that he wants to go out, it's more like the need for company. So someone has to wake up (it's impossible to sleep with all the scratching going on) and open the door for him. We're reluctant to keep him in at night, as he might start chewing on the furniture. We're at our wits' end. What to do?
