Ahoy. AHOY!

Since I'm the father of a boy aged 1 and a half, I often find myself watching the Hop! channel on satellite. Hop! is intended for the smallest of TV viewers, however I sometimes spot programs that have a peculiar age-less charm. My latest discovery is the fabulous Yoho Ahoy show, produced by the BBC. Basically, it's a modeling-clay animation that tells about (take a wild guess) pirates and their everyday lives. The plot is not so important, but the gimmick is, that all conversation consists of just two words - "Yoho" and "Ahoy" (!!!) You can imagine the way the tiny pirates might shout "yo-HO!" when angry, or pout "yoho" when they're about to cry. And the ever-noticeable British accent ("yehw hehw") is just icing on the cake :)
