The Nerve!

The other day I paid a visit to Doron's photo-supplies store (remember, the one with the elephant?) I was looking for some slide film. Here's the conversation between me and Doron.

M: Hi. Do you carry slide film?
D: Sure, there you are (he procedes by taking the film out of its box and handing it to me).
M: Can I see the box please?
D: It's okay (???)
M: I want to know the expiry date of the film.
D: (looks at the box again) It says "2004".
M: Please, can I look at it myself?
D: Sure (hands the box over - the expiry date is "2001 - 4", April 2001)
M: It's "2001"!
D: No, look, it's corrected to "2004"!
M: Okay, I get it. See ya.

Some people's chutzpah is unbelievable...
