  • Can't get used to winter time. I fall asleep before 11 and wake up at 5.

  • It's the beginning of October, yet going for a swim in the sea is still a pleasurable pastime.

  • Yahel wets his bed the instant he hears the neighbors' sprinklers.

  • If you want to drill a hole in a ceramic tile, carefully chisel a small cavity using a nail and a hammer. The drill won't skid.

  • Rafapen (the antibiotic) tastes like something that died a month ago, still you have to take it for 10 days.

  • One benefit of being unemployed is that you can have a beer with your lunch.

  • It's the first time in my life I'm being paid 1 month for doing nothing.

My dad asked me, how much energy we're using to cool the house, and I was ashamed to admit that I have no idea. So today I went through the technical sheets and found the figures.

Upper unit (central) - cooling 4.1 kW, heating 3.8 kW (never used for heating)
Lower unit (living room) - cooling 3.1 kW, heating 3.0 kW.

Usually only one unit works at the same time - the lower one during the day, the upper one during the night (if it gets extremely hot). Anyways, it's a pretty expensive commodity.
