Don't drink and draw.
Mar. 21st, 2005 09:43 amOne day, when I was walking the streets of Prague "under a slight influence", I remembered that I was running out of cash. All I wanted to do, is find a cash machine, and take out 2000Kč (€67). Since ATMs are pretty common in the city, I located one right away, and tried to follow its instructions. For some strange reason I ended up typing 20000 as the required amount. The machine didn't event blink, and promptly produced a pile of money. It took me a while to realize what I've done. Now I was walking the busy touristic area of Karlův Most (allegedly riddled with pickpockets) with a large portion of my salary in my wallet. The slight shock made me think a bit clearer. I promptly exchanged the crowns to euros and placed everything in the hotel safe. Now I'm looking for someone to take €600 off my hands...
Update: 24/3 - the money is back in my bank account. At the bottom line, this mess cost me 168 NIS.
