Took Yahelchik to the Adeloyada in Beit Yitzhak yesterday. Some 10 tractors pulling decorated floats, lots of flags, banners, loud music, kids on bicycles and dancing girls. Yahel's kindergarten had its own float, but ... we weren't invited. Why is that, you ask? Because we are not originally from Beit Yitzhak, while most other kids are. Yahel was pretty shocked by the fact that his friends are "up there" and he's not. We somehow managed to settle things down, by offering him the orange cap that was part of the group-costume. He eventually took it to bed with him, and now won't let go of it. I hope he gets over it soon. Other than that the day was crowned a success. The performance of some kids' TV celebrity at the end was a nice touch too :)
