Yesterday Yahel had his first horse riding lesson. I took him to a ranch in Haniel (5 minutes from Kfar Yona), where he rode Shula, a young brown mare. To be frank, I didn't believe he'd handle the task with such ease - it's a damn big horse, and he's just a small kid. But I guess he's a natural. He did all the beginners' exercises, reluctantly dismounted the horse, and started looking for something else to do. Picked up a fight with the instructor's daughter over a training ball that was lying around. It ended in tears (I hope we're still welcome at the ranch :)It's gonna be one lesson a week, in addition to the swimming lessons. Go go Yahelchik!
