This morning we reached an all time low, +3ºC (around 37ºF). Wrapped the kids with everything I could find in the closet - woolen hats, scarves, gloves, several layers of clothes, and took them to school/kindergarten. The car started immediately, but showed some kind of a snowflake symbol on the dashboard. I have no idea what it means. I hope we won't need anti-freeze fluid any time soon. Plants around town look okay, but I'm sure that some of the poinciana trees didn't make it: they kick the bucket at +7. A radio report says that some crops were lost because of the frost at night. Other than that, everything is normal. It's fun to feel a bit like Europe occasionally.
