Jan. 13th, 2008 11:13 amOn the radio this morning: A woman came to a police station in Netanya and wanted to report her car stolen. The police ran a routine check on her number and found (to their surprise) that she had already filed a stolen-car report a week earlier. "What's the deal?" they asked. The woman said that last week she wrote the car was hers, but now she wants to withdraw her previous report, and file a new one, claiming the car belongs to someone else. After some further questioning the woman admitted, that her previous report had gotten her in trouble with Social Security. They found out she owned a car, and stopped her income support assistance.
