Yesterday my cousin Ron and I took the day off, and went to the Golan Heights. We wanted to hike down the upper part of the Yehudiya stream. I hadn't been to that place for ten years, and didn't remember exactly what it looked like. In any case, the hike turned out to be pretty technical. No special equipment is needed, but you do have to climb down a few ladders, and swim across a few deep pools. All your stuff gets wet. Luckily, I had some plastic bags with me, so I could wrap up the camera. Lots of people on that route, some with dogs, some with small kids. Some teenagers even jumped into the waterfall, although it's strictly forbidden. Must say, the water was a bit colder than I expected. All in all, a good 3 hour workout, and a beautiful mountain scenery.
