Oct. 16th, 2008 07:09 amJust as I was bragging about my Škoda, here's a little surprise it gave me yesterday. I was getting out of work, going to a party, all loaded with cake, salad, pies and stuff, sat in the car and tried to start the engine. No way José, the key won't even get into the ignition hole. Being a good programmer, I exited the car, turned on the alarm and waited. Turned off the alarm, got into the car, tried the key again. Impossible, something is jammed in the ignition. To make a long story short, I had to contact my firm's car fleet officer, and have my car exchanged. By chance I got the car of the CEO, who is abroad right now. I got to the party in time, but the salad's dressing got spilled (not in the car, thank goodness). Now I'm waiting for word from the firm. I wonder what went into my good old Škoda.
