(harrow, борона) A cultivating implement set with spikes, spring teeth, or disks and used primarily for pulverizing and smoothing the soil. In this way it is distinct in its effect from the plough, which is used for deeper cultivation.

On Vox: ציפי הציפור

Took me a whole day to find this tune. It belonged to a black-and-white Israeli cartoon from the 70's, in which a big bird would get in all sort of trouble with her chicks. Either they got lost, or misdirected, or she tried to teach them some vital life lesson and they didn't get it, etc. etc. The episodes were short, funny, and the message got across without a single word. This was the tune that went with the cartoon. Tzipi the Bird, by Tuvia Kurtz.
