Aug. 11th, 2009 07:57 amI have finally found the way to fix my grandpa's internet connection (it was a pesky routing error, fixed like this). He now has an old computer that someone wanted to throw into the garbage, fitted with Puppy Linux, an ADSL modem that connects to Netvision, and Firefox 3.5. The setup is pretty light-weight, and fires up in under a minute. I think that now he's about the oldest Linux user in Israel, at almost 93 years (may he stay healthy). Anyone got a spare pair of loudspeakers for him?
