When we arrived at the upper cable-car station, we were kindly asked to retrace our steps. The cable car was being repaired, so we had to drive back to sea level, and get in through the lower entrance. Come to think of it, this is quite silly. I always thought there was no way of getting to the grottos, other than the cable car. But now they're telling us there's a perfectly usable road that gets your straight to the main site. Well, at least they gave us a discount.
