Yesterday I took Yahel (3.5 y/o) to the beach, as we sometimes do in the middle of the week. As usual, Yahel wanted to go to the Mikhmoret beach and I tried to talk him out of it.
- I want to go to ... Mizmoret!
- You mean Mikhmoret. But it's more expensive there. Why don't we go to Beit Yanay and pay 10 NIS instead of 20?
- But I want Mikhmoret!
- If we go to Beit Yanay, we can buy some ice-cream with the money we save. Don't you want some ice-cream on the beach?
- (thinking hard) Mmmm... No. I am a big boy now. I will not buy ice-cream!
Oh, and in the evening I talked to my dad in Estonia via Skype. He said he's coming over in March! I don't remember when he was here the last time, but it seems like ages and ages. Better start making plans.
